Choir of the World with Catrin Finch

In a live televised concert, the Eisteddfod’s competitive sessions reach their pinnacle as the finest choirs from across the globe compete for the highly sought-after Choir of the World title and the prestigious Pavarotti Trophy. The final will determine the outright winner from the five adult choral competitions; Youth, Open, Mixed, Female and Male choirs. This breath-taking finale will also include dynamic dance displays by finalists in the Dance Champions competition as they compete for the coveted Lucille Armstrong Dance Award. The evening will also include a very special guest to be announced soon.

Our very special guest for the evening, internationally renowned harpist and composer to H.R.H The Prince of Wales, and Vice President of the Eisteddfod, Catrin Finch will take to the Llangollen stage once again to delight audiences with her unique and innovative style. A versatile, fearless and ground-breaking artist, Catrin continues to explore and push the boundaries of her art and is sure to deliver a sensational and memorable performance to bring down the curtain on the 2019 Eisteddfod.
