The Story Teller

Biography: Jacqui Blore is a professional musician, story teller and crafter. She is best known for her work as The Story Teller and Piccolos Music, as well as being an integral part of the classical music scene throughout the North West.

As a story teller, Jacqui has worked for the National Trust, Sale Chamber Orchestra, Cambrian Orchestra, the Arts Council of Wales, Literature Wales, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Tŷ Pawb, Hereford Council, Carnival of Words, Wrexham County Borough Council, Pendine Park Care Home, and many schools, nurseries, and youth groups.  Jacqui also runs creative writing workshops for all ages.

In 2016 Jacqui was commissioned by Sale Chamber Orchestra to write a book about their Children’s Ambassador, “Minim Mouse”. This led to the publication of her first book, “Minim Finds a French Horn”, which was critically acclaimed and endorsed by the world’s leading French Horn player, Sarah Willis.  2018 saw the publication of her second Minim book, “Minim Goes to The Proms”.

Following the success of these two books, Jacqui began blogging about the escapades of her rescue pup, Custard. The “Dogblog” posts soon gained a huge following on social media and followers begged for a book of Custard’s diary which was published in December 2018 and went straight into the Amazon Best Sellers list.
