DRACULIN

Draculin are a rock/metal band from Torquay, Devon and have been together for just over 12 months. The band came together at Torquay Academy and consists of Will Candy (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Oliver Cocker (Lead Guitar) Emillee Payne (Bass Guitar) and Bartosz Mitula (Drums). They write their own compositions as well as playing favourite covers from the legends of rock music.

In November 2023 they released their first single on Spotify called Sweet Dreams.

They performed at the 2023  Abbfest Festival, Newton Abbot as well as being finalists at last summer’s Rock Project Battle of the Bands competition in Exeter. They already have been accepted for the Respect Festival in Exeter in June and have plans to put on their own concert in a local theatre next November.

Country representing: England

Where and how often do you rehearse? Weekly rehearsals at own venue with full equipment plus monthly at professional studio in Exeter.

Do you have any interesting stories about your group? The band played at Abbfest last summer when Devon experienced the most horrendous thunderstorms. The band were forced to wade through 6 inches of mud and puddles the size of small lakes to take to the indoor stage. Luckily nobody got stuck or drowned and the audience who were also soaked, appreciated the music if not the conditions.

How would you best describe your group? Young, talented and very enthusiastic lovers of rock and metal music with aspirations to achieve the highest levels of success within their capabilities and dreams.
