Children’s Day

Visit the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod this summer with your school for your annual end of term outing.
An enjoyable day for the children and an educational outing which meets many requirements of the National Curriculum; linking awareness of global citizenship and culture with a positive and memorable experience.
The day includes:
- Our annual Schools Concerts feature a wonderful adventure through the instruments of the orchestra with ‘Slumbersaurus’ from NEW Sinfonia; guaranteed to capture childrens’ imaginations
- Full access to our safe and secure Eisteddfod Maes with its new Kids Zone for dedicated entertainment, circus performances and shopping
- Three outside performance spaces for music, dance, talks and comedy
- Workshops across a range of skills including music, dance and STEM activities
- Yoga, meditation, craft a ‘white flower’ of remembrance to display at our evening concert
- Check out our competitions in the Royal International Pavilion, showcasing an incredible range of talent from across the world with Children’s Folk Dance Groups and Children’s Junior and Senior Choirs
- Welsh language events, literature trails, take part in the Young Peacemakers Awards and much more!
All of this for only £5 per pupil (with 1 free teacher for every 6 children).

Go and See Fund– Schools in Wales can apply for up to £1,000 at any time in the year and will receive a decision within six-eight weeks.
