ARCTIC VOICES will be joining us on Sunday the 12th of July for the Mixed Choirs competition and the Open Choirs competition at the main stage.

Biography:
Arctic Voices is a choir from Tromsø, the gateway to the Arctic, known for its wild nature and northern lights. We love to perform, whether it is for a handful of people at our local pub, or for a large audience at concerts. We have previously participated in many international competitions and festivals. Our singers are famous for their ability to connect with the audience when performing. Their smiles and dynamic behaviour radiate from the stage. We have been known for winning the heart of the audience, and this is very important to us. Arctic Voices was established by the university hospital of Tromsø in 1996. In 2021 the choir became independent. We are very excited to have the opportunity to spread some arctic magic to everyone who visits Llangollen during the festival. Our conductor, Guttorm Lindquist, started the choir in 1996. The choir has grown from 20 singers in 2016 to 60 singers in 2025, all very enthusiastic during concerts.
