The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a magical place full of songs and dancers from all over the world. Everyone should go, just to see that different people do have a communal language.

Always a fabulous event

A visit to the Eisteddfod is always a fabulous event, no matter who is performing. It’s great to get to the arena well ahead of the performance time, to have a look at the many stalls and watch some of the other free concerts.

It was fantastic to experience performing at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, amongst such a welcoming audience and picturesque setting. Singing live is always special, however the festival’s unique combination of location, high spirits and celebration of cultures made the event truly unforgettable for me.
