Biography: North Wales Opera Studio was founded by Anne Williams-King, a professional opera soprano and teacher, and David Bartleet, opera singer, teacher and opera agent to give aspiring opera singers and students the opportunity to receive top class training from seasoned professionals.

NWOS is a training ground run by experienced professionals for talented singers waiting to get into the opera business. NWOS is still in its infancy, but is going from strength to strength. Recent highlights have been appearing at the William Aston Hall, Wrexham with the London Welsh Male Voice Choir and this February they had a successful evening performing at a sell-out opera evening with the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra at the same venue.

Their workshops and courses cover all aspects of performance, stage craft and vocal technique allowing students to develop and gain invaluable experience in the challenging world of opera. Students have the chance to rehearse, stage and perform a varied repertoire of operatic scenes under the mentorship and guidance of their expert professionals. They pride themselves in nurturing talent and improving all aspects of performance including musical interpretation, vocal technique and stage craft.
