Biography: Theatrix Arts are a puppet company and their performance work is directed towards 4 to 12 year old children and families, they also offer a wide range of storytelling and arts projects, and have toured to many theatres, festivals and schools.
The children thoroughly enjoy “A Dragon’s Tale”. The show is expertly produced and performed, and gives the audience a real insight into top-drawer puppetry. There are plenty of laughs (and gasps!), and the performance provides an experience of medieval story-telling at its best.
“Dragon’s Tale”- Foolishly John Lambton throws the strange googly eyed fish back into the river. What has he done! The Fish grew and grew and grew until… Well why not find by coming to watch.
Paul Batten of Theatrix Arts perform this magical story based on the legend of the Lambton Worm through puppets, changing scenery, music and sound effects. He trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked for many years in the theatre and entertainment industry. Working as a Puppeteer and Maker Production Manager, Designer for many events large-scale outdoor site-specific events. In his career, he has also had the opportunity of touring with several different Theatre companies and music groups, both nationally and internationally. He also finds time to teach theatre production.
