Community officers from Wrexham Football Club took to the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod field to challenge young festival goers to show off their ball skills.
Gemma Jones, Rob Morris, Matthew Jones and Craig Knight handed out free match day programmes, sweat shirts and other goodies to children able to shoot a ball through a target and had a queue of football-mad youngsters wanting to have a go.
And first in line were children from Ysgol Meifod, Welshpool, with Daisy Walsh, Aaron Cox, both nine, Aaron Warburton, Harley Morris and Joshua Edwards, all eight, and keen to show off their skills.
Community officer Rob Morris said: ‘It’s been a cracking day with lots of children enjoying the event and activities on offer. We have had children from across a wide area joining in and the atmosphere has been superb.’
